nirmala (Debbie Roche) is a Registered Holistic Nutritionist (RHN) and a Registered Yoga Teacher (200hr) based in Vancouver, BC.
nirmala ‘teaches to learn’, and tries to move through life with an open heart and an open mind. She trained as a Hatha Yoga Teacher at the Salt Spring Centre of Yoga, a working yoga community inspired by the teachings of silent monk Baba Hari Dass. nirmala also completed Kundalini Yoga Teacher Training at Semperviva Yoga in Vancouver and is working towards her 500hr Advanced Yoga Teacher Training certificate with Semperviva Yoga.
nirmala graduated from the Vancouver branch of the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition as a Registered Holistic Nutritionist and offers nutritional consultations, private, group and corporate yoga lessons. She loves to combine yoga with nutrition and nutrition with yoga, and offers comprehensive packages integrating the two, bringing clients to a place of overall body awareness and health. She aims to educate others to make informed choices about their diet and lifestyle, empowering them to live a healthy, happy and balanced life.
nirmala also loves to cook, read, write, swim, sew, travel, dance and sing really bad karaoke.
